THE

LABYRINTH

This Hall is dedicated to harmony between the divine forces of the planet, respect for all belief systems, peaceful relationships among all peoples.

An elegant, symmetrical architectural style and intersecting corridors give the impression of walking in a richly adorned labyrinth showing an elaborate pictorial representation of hundreds of divine forces connected to the peoples of the planet.

Walking the Labyrinth is like revisiting the history of humankind, finding within us our most luminous part, which is connected to the divine principle, the eternal essence that, beyond any illusory separation, unites all spiritual and religious expressions.

On the walls and glass windows hundreds of divine forces are depicted. They represent the highest values and ideals of the peoples connected to them and all interact with one another to create a new equilibrium. The forces of the continents remind us that we are One with the Earth and the Cosmos, while those representing art, beauty, creation and healing bring to mind all the richness and power there are in our human souls. The mirrors placed at the far ends of the Hall refer to the fact that human beings possess a divine spark and belong to the spiritual ecosystem depicted all over this Hall.
Great statues representing the Guardians of the Labyrinth are placed at the intersection points of the naves, along the walls and the arched vaults. They all look in different directions, indicating that the countless faces of the Truth Crystal are everywhere.

At the entrance, on the walls of the central nave, various events in our human history are depicted, while a beautiful floor mosaic captures the eye of the visitors showing plant and flower motifs inserted in a flow of lines which represent the spiritual Paths of the Damanhurian tradition.

Detail of the wall painting representing Yagil Qan, feminine spirit connected to the culture of the South-Siberian Turks.

She is wearing traditional clothes and necklace and has children all around her to indicate her unique characteristic: breathing the vital spirit into children.

Detail of a mosaic round representing the dandelion, the flower chosen as Damanhur’s symbol because it is connected to the sun. Another plant linked to the sun and to rebirth is the mistletoe, its leaves can be seen in the top part of the picture.
